Formula
Ultrathon was originally developed for the U.S. military
for use in challenging environments that require long-lasting protection. This 19% product is stepped down for those people that require 3 hour protection.
Ultrathon is now available in a 19% non-aerosol: The new 19% DEET formula is packaged in a 6
ounce pump spray bottle. The DEET is dispersed in a unique controlled-release
polymer, which reduces the loss of DEET from the skin surface through
absorption and evaporation. When Ultrathon is used on exposed skin in
conjunction with permethrin-treated clothing, complete protection against
annoying and potentially disease-causing mosquitoes and ticks can be achieved.
The new 19% DEET spray formula also affords long-lasting protection: up to 3
hours against mosquitoes.
